Helane Morrison is a famous lawyer who has been in the limelight in the past three years. Before her promotion, the position was held by David Bayless. David had worked as the office administrator for the past five years, and he had decided to step down and take a position as partner at a company known as Morrison and Foerster, based in San Francisco.

Helane was chosen to join SEC in the year 1996. Over the years, she was in charge of several investigations in the office. Some of these investigations resulted in the enforcement actions that were given to Republic Securities at the New York City and other areas. Before joining SEC, Helane was already practicing law, and this gave her an opportunity to represent the clients sued by SEC.

 

She was once working as a partner in one of the largest law firms in San Francisco. She went to school at the Boalt Hall School of Law, where she graduated with a degree in law. After completing her education, she worked in different companies. She has transformed the companies she has used to work for, ensuring that integrity and honesty is maintained.
